Michelle Williams Upcoming Album

Michelle Williams Upcoming Album

Come September 9th and Destiny’s Child alumni, Michelle Williams will drop her hotly anticipated 4th album, titled ‘Journey To Freedom’ which is preceded by lead singles
1.‘If We Had Your Eyes’ which is a thought-provoking song that speaks about seeing things from God’s point of view
2. ‘Fire’ which is a mid tempo gospel song that wouldn’t sound out of place on a Rihanna album.
3. Twerk-inducing ‘Say Yes’ which features her former band mates Kelly Rowland and Beyonce.

Williams, with this album is returning to her gospel roots but also infusing the sound she experimented with on her 3rd album titled ‘Unexpected’, she christened the sound of her upcoming album ‘Urban/Inspirational’.

Having been a fan of Michelle Williams from the beginning, I can safely say she just keeps getting better, from the singles she has released thus far, this is promising to be her best album to date (even though I still religiously listen to ‘Heart To Yours’, ‘Do You Know’ and ‘Unexpected’).

The confirmed track list for this album is as follows:

1. ‘Need Your Help’
3. ‘Everything’
4. ‘Fall’ featuring Tye Tribett & Lecrae
5. ‘Fire’
6. ‘Free’
7. ‘Just Like You’
8. ‘Beautiful’
9. ‘Believe In Me’
10. ‘In The Morning’
11. ‘If We Had Your Eyes’ featuring Fantasia
12. ‘Say Yes’ featuring Beyonce & Kelly Rowland

The album can be pre-ordered worldwide on itunes, amazon and walmart, below is the South African itunes link:

Kelly Rowland talks a good game and she isn’t even playing with her upcoming album aptly titled Talk A Good Game which drops next week.
The Destiny’s Child beauty has released another scorching single titled ‘Gone’, the track features Wiz Khalifa and it samples the Joni Mitchell song ‘Big Yellow Taxi’ which was sampled by Janet Jackson on ‘Got Till It’s Gone’ and later by Counting Crows.
One thing’s for sure, Talk A Good Game seems to be the best Kelly Rowland album thus far and looks set to give a lot of her female contemporaries a run for their money.

June 18th is the date that Kelly Rowland has chosen to release her much anticipated album, titled ‘Talk A Good Game’ and well this lady is onto a winning formula thus far with the music.
She has unveiled that collaboration with her former Destiny’s Child band mates Michelle Williams and Beyonce, a song called ‘You Changed’ and the song is FIRE!
Although one would think this is a Destiny’s Child song, Kelly has said it isn’t, it’s just her, featuring her two sisters and well I LOVE everything about this song, it is just on point and showcases all their vocal abilities.

Get into the song below:

Willie Taylor likes his kisses down low too, the former Day 26 member has gotten on an unofficial remix of Kelly Rowland’s sexy track Kisses Down Low

Former Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams may have dashed many a fan’s heart when she said there won’t be a Destiny’s Child reunion for a very long time.
Well it seems fans should not despair, for another Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland has revealed that on her upcoming album ‘Talk A Good Game’ she will be collaborating with both Beyonce and Michelle. She made it clear though that it is not a Destiny’s Child track, it is just her featuring Beyonce and Michelle.
This is excellent news for all Destiny’s Child fans, especially after the release of ‘Nuclear’ and Beyonce’s Superbowl special left fans yearning for more.
Other names that are set to feature on Kelly’s album are Pharell Williams and Wiz Khalifa.
Rowland’s album is set to drop in June.

Former Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams is making 2013 her year, a few weeks ago she reunited with her band mates Beyonce and Kelly Rowland for Beyonce’s Superbowl Halftime special, she is currently on a nationwide tour with the theatre production of Fela The Musical and she is set to release a hotly anticipated gospel album later this year.
Now she is adding a reality show to her resume, her show will be called My Sister’s Keeper.

In a statement she said

“I am very thrilled about this opportunity, to extend into television with the eOne family as well, with this series,” said Williams. “Working together on my new gospel album and television series, I am excited to share with everyone a behind-the-scenes look at the inspiration and journey of recording for the album, performing, fun family times and other Unforgettable experiences out together with my dear sisters.”

Williams will be one of the executive producers of the show, while show will center around the making of her gospel album.
All I can say is Go SLAYCHELLE

Destiny’s Child made a triumphant return to the stage at Beyonce’s Superbowl halftime special a few hours ago, while everyone was hyped up about this reunion, some chose to be mean and negative, most of that negativity directed towards Michelle Williams (who looked and sounded amazing by the way).
They did a medley of some of their biggest hits like Bootylicious, Independent Women and finished off the set with Beyonce’s smash hit Single Ladies.

By the time Kelly and Michelle left the stage, twitter was already on fire with commentary on the performance,
one of the people that commented was Mary J. Blige wannabe, Keyshia Cole. She took to her twitter account and tweeted:
I think I was frightened to blink for a sec. Then Michell sung and woke my ass up from my daze! She always fuckN the groove up

The minute that tweet went out, people started attacking Keyshia Cole for her tactless behaviour on social media, while some were cheering her on.
Now I’m a huge Michelle Williams fan and she takes a lot of abuse on twitter and many times she doesn’t respond but she did send out two tweets in response to Keyshia but went on to delete them, she said:
@KeyshiaCole im Destiny’s Child, u are Frankies Child….u do the math
Another tweet from Michelle said: @KeyshiaCole u have no relevance sweetheart, never did, never will #ChurchDismissed

We can safely say that Michelle won this round, let’s examine why.
1. Michelle has Grammys, Keyshia has none.

2.Michelle has performed in some of the biggest arenas in the world, while Keyshia performs at community halls.

3. Michelle has had chart topping albums both as a solo artist and as part of Destiny’s Child, while Keyshia’s albums chart in her kitchen.

4. Michelle Williams has a very successful acting career on Broadway, starting with Aida, The Color Purple, Chicago, What My Husband Doesn’t Know and currently Fela. What is Keyshia Cole doing, sitting on her couch eating chicken.

5. Michelle Williams is all original, she’s doing her, doesn’t try to be anybody else, while Keyshia Cole is nothing but a fake ass Mary J. Blige.

So Keyshia Cole must just sit down and eat dick, because Michelle Williams stays winning, her upcoming album will outsell whatever trash Keyshia is serving up.
