Reblogged from episodic rants and random thoughts:

High School in the former Transkei begins at grade 10. This is apparently(and this is a very big "apparently") soon to change. The current system sucks because high school teachers only have two and a half years to prepare learners for grade 12 exams and life beyond.
What should be a three year gig becomes a marathon session for many who during their stay in high school manage to spawn a kid or two if Aids doesn't put an abrupt end to the race to Nowhereland.

A Judge in Newark New Jersey has just slapped R&b singer Lauryn Hill with a 3 month prison sentence for tax evasion.
Hill pled guilty last year to three counts of tax evasion for failing to file returns on $1.8 million she made between 2005 and 2007.
Hers is a sad story, to see such a talented individual have to go through all these trials and tribulations.
In addition to her prison stint, she will have to spend 3 more months under house arrest.
Here’s to hoping she will pick herself up and get back on top when all this is over

Beyonce told bitches to bow down and that is exactly what Drake is doing.
He has decided to pay homage to King B in the form of a song titled ‘Girls Love Beyonce’.
The song is produced by Noah Shebib and samples ‘Say My Name’ which was Beyonce’s worldwide smash hit with Destiny’s Child.
It’s not a bad song after listening to it a few times but it is not single material, which is probably why it has been served as a buzz track, leading up to the release of Drake’s upcoming album ‘Nothing Was The Same’
